Interests

I just completed my Bachelor's degrees (yes, more than one) at Missouri Western State College. I earned (earned!!!) degrees in Chemistry and Computer Science with minors in math and physics. In my spare time I am working on a sequel to my game, Rampage Wrestling© .

Work

Shortly after graduating, I took a position as a Systems Analyst at TouchNet Information Systems, Inc. What is a Systems Analyst you might ask? Well, these days that's what they call a programmer who has an opinion. I guess I'm more than that, I actually get to take charge of my own sub-projects within the company. Your next question may very well be. . . . what does TouchNet do? The simple answer is that they make computer-based kiosks. If you don't know what a kiosk is, check back here later and I'll try to explain it. They actually make a device called a TouchServe Information Gateway that the kiosks use to access information. Think of any information client and any information server. A TouchServe Gateway can connect them. Got a legacy mainframe, but you want people to be able to access the information on the WWW? Just pick up a TouchServe Information Gateway and this is all possible, and it's easier than you would think. From a customer's standpoint that is.
