Our beloved blue-point Birman Luv died from renal failure on January 3, 2007. Jazmyn, our dear grey DMH, lost her struggle with chronic renal failure on August 28, 2007. Luv was 15; Jazmyn was 16. To visit their page, click here.

Our beloved Gracie died December 6th. We are completely heartbroken. We miss our sweet girl terribly.

Our Maxine cat is "indoor-only." She's been spayed and is current on her vaccinations. We feed her quality cat food (Hill's Science Diet). We use Tidy Cat Scoopable litter (Thanks be to the almighty creator of scoopable litter--we scoop twice daily). At least once a week, she gets malt-flavored Petromalt Hairball treats. We *try* to comb her fur and brush her teeth weekly and bathe her at least two times a year.
Maxine is a purebred Supreme Champion blue lynx (tabby)-point Birman--as she will be more than happy to inform you! Maxie is a total diva!

Racqui, a gorgeous blue-cream Domestic Long Hair cat, is living with a foster of the Kansas City Siamese Rescue. She is a wonderful cat, but was a bit too rambunctious for our older girls. If you are interested in adopting (they don't just have Siamese cats, by the way), please visit the web page we set up for her (with many gorgeous pictures and even an audio file of her mewing!) or http://www.kcsiameserescue.org.
Ladybug, the English Setter we owned from June of 2001 to March of 2002, has been adopted by a wonderful family in Michigan.
Ladybug's web site is still up--Click HERE to check it out.
Ladybug's foster mom, Sue, and her family fell in love with LB and decided to adopt her for themselves! They have wonderful taste! Ladybug is livin' large in Michigan now!
You can check out links to dogs in need of permanent homes HERE. Ladybug filled our home and hearts for just under nine months (June 17, 2001 - March 9, 2002). Unfortunately, Jazmyn, who had asthma and is getting on in years, was utterly terrified of her though Ladybug was always very respectful of our cats. We just couldn't keep dear Ladybug any longer.

Chauncey, the blue belton English Setter we had for a short period of time (he was an unrepentant CAT-CHASER), was only with us from August 24, 2001 - October 13, 2001. He was a big, lovable guy ... unless you happen to be a cat. He is happily living with a boy of his own with a friend of ours. You can reach Chauncey's web page by clicking here.

My "sister" Daisy's page is here.

Feel free to e-mail me at kris@markris.net if you want to discuss cat or bird parenting techniques (I am NOT a veterinarian and do not purport myself to be an expert; I just love talking about our furry and feathered babies).
